Statistics show that over 50% of visitors to Jiangxi nowchoose to drive, making them a significant force in the province's cultural andtourism sectors.

For a successful self-driving journey, good roads are crucial. In 2024, Jiangxibecame the third province in China with a comprehensive network of high-speed roads connecting every county, totaling 6,838 kilometers. All scenic spots rated 4A and above are directly accessible via these high-quality highways.

On March 21st,Jiangxi unveiled four self-drivingroutes departing fromNanchang, extending in the directions of east, south, west, and north, linkingthe province's natural and cultural landscapes. Zhou Jianwen, Deputy Directorof the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, stated, "Jiangxiwill collaborate with various departments to promote the open sharing ofparking resources and create a 'self-driving-friendly' province.
East Route: This takes you through Jiangxi's "landscape scroll", featuringLonghu Mountain, Sanging Mountain, and Huangling. Travelers can enjoyethereal scenes reminiscent of martial arts dramas as well as the idyllic charmtypical of traditional ink paintings.
Southern Route: Starting from Nanchang, the historic site where the militaryflag was raised, this route leads to the revolutionary birthplace in JinggangMountain and the original aspirations of the Republic in Ruijin, offering insights into both the "red" and "green" stories of Jiangxi.
Western Route: Traveling from the Han civilization represented by the HaihunMarquis to the revolutionary roots of the Anyuan Workers' Movement, this pathalso includes the soothing hot springs in Mingyue Mountain and thepicturesque alpine meadows of Wugong Mountain, showcasing the poetry and grandeur of western Jiangxi.
Northern Route: Explore the Tang Dynasty cultural heritage at TengwangPavilion, visit the White Deer Cave Academy from the Song Dynasty, anddiscover the imperial kilns from the Ming and Qing dynasties, along withcontemporary art of jingdezhen's Taoxichuan, this route is especially appealingto culture and photography enthusiasts,
This year, Jiangxi aims to support and promote the international presence ofnotable cities and scenic spots such as Nanchang, Jingdezhen, Wuyuan, andiconic mountains like Lushan Mountain, Sanging Mountain, Longhu Mountain. Wugong Mountain, and Wangxiang Valley.
