Yingpanwei Township in Suichuan County, situated on the eastern side of theLuoxiao Mountains, serves as a critical stopover for migratory birds along themiddle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. Each year, countless birds passthrough this area, gliding over Bai Shui Xian and soaring above the TaoyuanTerraced Fields. In 2002,the Yingpanwei Bird Banding Conservation Stationwas established, inviting Zeng Zhaoming and others to join the bird protectionteam. They began promoting awareness of avian conservation by visitingschools to share their personal experiences and emphasize the importance ofprotecting birds, inspiring more people to become involved in the cause.
