At this year's China's "two sessions," Zhang Jingjing, a deputy to the National People's Congress from Jingdezhen in Jiangxi Province and Vice President of Jingdezhen Ceramic University, proposed the establishment of a China–Türkiye Belt and Road Joint Laboratory on Ceramics. On April 23, she said Jingdezhen Ceramic University has been advancing cooperation and the application process with Anadolu University and Sakarya University in Türkiye, with more Turkish universities likely to join in the future.
