大江新闻-江西国际传播中心 全媒体记者刘奕颖报道：2026年是中国与非洲国家开启外交关系70周年，也被中非领导人共同确立为“中非人文交流年”。为了增进中非人民友谊，促进文化交流，当地时间9月9日，由江西省人民政府外事办公室、江西省人民对外友好协会、江西日报社联合主办，江西国际传播中心与纳米比亚《新时代报》共同承办的“江西文化走进国际友城（纳米比亚）及中非主流媒体与智库高峰对话”活动，在纳米比亚首都温得和克举行。

 

2026 marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Africa, and Chinese and African leaders have jointly designated it as the China-Africa Year of People-to-People Exchanges. On September 9 local time in Windhoek, capital of Namibia, the series of events featuring "Jiangxi Culture Goes to International Sister Cities (Namibia)" and "High?Level Dialogue between Chinese and African Mainstream Media and Think Tanks" kicked off, aiming to enhance friendship between the Chinese and African peoples and promote cultural exchanges.

 

中国驻纳米比亚大使赵卫平、纳米比亚霍马斯省省长萨姆·沙菲舒纳·努乔马、江西省人民政府外事办公室二级巡视员蓝文胜、江西国际传播中心常务副主任郑颖以及纳米比亚新时代报CEO Christof Maletsky等中纳政界、媒体代表出席启动仪式并致辞。与会嘉宾一致表示，江西与纳米比亚虽然远隔重洋，但友谊源远流长，合作成果丰硕，愿以此次活动为契机，进一步拓展在文化、经贸、媒体等领域的务实合作。

 

Zhao Weiping, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Namibia; Sam Shafiishuna Nujoma, Governor of Khomas Province, Republic of Namibia;Lan Wensheng, Second-Level Inspector of the Office of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Government of Jiangxi Province; Zheng Ying, Executive Deputy Director of the Jiangxi International Communication Center; Christof Maletsky, CEO of Namibia’s New Era newspaper; and other political and media representatives from China and Namibia attended and addressed the opening ceremony. The guests expressed the shared view that, although Jiangxi and Namibia are separated by vast distances, their friendship has a long history and their cooperation has yielded fruitful results. Participants expressed hope that the event would serve as a catalyst to deepen practical cooperation across culture, trade, investment, media, and beyond. The gathering brought together over 100 delegates and think-tank experts.

启动仪式上，蓝文胜二级巡视员向努乔马省长赠送了定制瓷盘，以这一份承载江西千年陶瓷文化的信物，传递江西人民对纳米比亚人民的深情厚谊。随后，赵卫平大使、努乔马省长等嘉宾共同参观了“中国式现代化江西实践展”。展览通过神山村脱贫蝶变、资溪面包产业、望仙谷文旅融合、南康家具转型升级以及江西智造等五个典型案例，生动展现了江西高质量发展的鲜活样本与开放包容的崭新形象。赣非宣传片《江西与非洲：跨越山海的握手》在现场正式发布，以影像记录赣非合作的动人故事。

 

At the opening ceremony, Lan Wensheng, Second-Level Inspector of the Office of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Government of Jiangxi Province, presented Governor Nujoma of the Khomas Province with a custom-made porcelain plate. As a token embodying Jiangxi’s thousand-year-old ceramic culture, the gift conveyed the deep friendship of the people of Jiangxi toward the people of Namibia. Subsequently, Ambassador Zhao Weiping, Governor Nujoma, and other guests toured the exhibition titled “Jiangxi’s Practice of Chinese Modernization”. Through five representative cases—the poverty alleviation transformation of Shenshan Village, the bread industry in Zixi, the integration of culture and tourism in Wangxian Valley, the transformation and upgrading of the furniture industry in Nankang, and intelligent manufacturing in Jiangxi—the exhibition vividly showcased Jiangxi’shigh-quality development and its new image of openness and inclusivity. Additionally, the Jiangxi-Africa promotional film Jiangxi and Africa: A Transcontinental Bond of Friendship was officially released, narrating heartwarming stories of Jiangxi-Africa cooperation through the film.

当天活动还设置了内容丰富的文化体验环节。新余版画、传统药香等非遗技艺展示引人驻足，中医义诊体验活动更让纳米比亚民众近距离沉浸式感受中华优秀传统文化与江西地域文化的独特魅力，搭建起一座直观生动的民间交流之桥。

 

The event also showcased a diverse array of cultural experiences, encompassing the presentation of friendship mementos, a high-level media dialogue, and a concentrated showcase of Jiangxi’s unique cultural resources. Performances of Jiangxi arts, such as Yihuang Opera and traditional Chinese instrumental music, demonstrations of intangible cultural heritage including Xinyu printmaking and Fenyi traditional medicinal incense, as well as traditional Chinese medicine consultation experiences, garnered significant attention. These activities allowed Namibian participants to closely experience the distinctive allure of exquisite traditional Chinese culture and Jiangxi’s regional culture, forging a vivid and direct bridge for people-to-people exchanges.

启动仪式后，“中非主流媒体与智库高峰对话（纳米比亚）”活动随即举行。该活动主题是“发展道路对话：从解放到现代化实践”。来自中纳两国的媒体代表与智库专家围绕中非人文交流、媒体合作机制、地方对外传播等议题展开深入对话，为推动中非文明互鉴贡献智慧与力量。

 

Following the opening ceremony, the “High-Level Dialogue between Chinese and African Mainstream Media and Think Tanks (Namibia)” was held under the theme “Dialogue on Paths of Development: From Liberation to the Practice of Modernization”. Media representatives and think-tank experts from China and Namibia engaged in in-depth discussions on China-Africa people-to-people and cultural exchanges, mechanisms for media cooperation, and international communication at the local level, offering insights and expertise to foster mutual learning between Chinese and African civilizations.

 

江西与纳米比亚虽远隔重洋，但情缘深厚。近年来，两地友好关系持续升温，2025年8月江西省与纳米比亚霍马斯省签署友城结好意向书，为两地常态化交流奠定坚实基础。长期以来，江西深度参与纳米比亚基础设施、新能源开发、资源合作等领域建设，纳米比亚首都新机场公路等一批已建成项目落地见效；罗什皮纳100兆瓦光伏电站作为该国规模最大的可再生能源项目，正全力冲刺并网，切实助力当地经济社会发展、惠及民生福祉。

 

Despite the vast geographical distance between Jiangxi and Namibia, the two regions share profound ties that have only grown stronger in recent years. In August 2025, Jiangxi Province and Namibia’s Khomas Provincesigned a letter of intent to establish a sister-cityrelationship, laying a solid foundation for regular exchanges. Over the years, Jiangxi has played a pivotal role in Namibia’s infrastructure development, new energy initiatives, and resource cooperation. Key projects, including the new airport highway in the Namibian capital, have been successfully completed and put into operation. Meanwhile, the 100 MW Rosh Pinah photovoltaic power station, the country’s largest renewable energy project, is in the final stages of grid connection. These landmark projects are making tangible contributions to local economic and social development, significantly enhancing people’s well-being.

According to the organizers, Jiangxi International Communication Center, as Jiangxi’s flagship platform for international communication, has consistently deepened people-to-people and cultural exchanges, as well as media cooperation with Africa. By utilizing an overseas communication network that reaches tens of millions of people and collaborating with numerous overseas think tanks, journalist organizations, and international media resources worldwide, the center continues to innovate in the way it tells China-Africa stories to international audiences. Through cultural outreach, media cooperation, and think-tank dialogue, this event further broadens Jiangxi’s international communication network, bolsters the national China-Africa cooperation strategy through local-level international engagement, presents a comprehensive image of a more open, inclusive, and vibrant Jiangxi in the new era， and contributes to building a closer China-Africa community with a shared future.
